Joaquin Phoenix, Indigo and Liberty

Perhaps you will spend 14 minutes with this beautiful, tender film, INDIGO (which includes no violent imagery):

All beings deserve to live out their own sovereign lives, free of subjugation, exploitation or abuse. Humans lose their humanity by subjugating others.

May all beings be well.

as far as i know every indigenous society says "yes i would eat them if i have looked into their eye not an act of abuse but of intimacy ---
or spend some time with a small farmer who has some cattle - see how much they love these animals.. how their children learn respect for others, and pretty much NEVER take vacations as they spend nights and days with them when they are sick or near giving birth or near a natural death -- or near being taken to slaughter ---- you might see some appreciation for all that they do - or just when taking care of the needs for food every single day while you may have a cushy job and take frequent overnight outings here and there and ... and ....
and then i see so often the painted healthy cows if India, but have you really seen the cows of India that are turned out onto the streets to eat only garbage and die with the rats --- you will not find one cow like that in the USA except perhaps at a corporate farm - which so very often fail to show any sense of ethic or dignity -- but this too is in the process of change, perhaps you should pair this as well??
just sayin' -- never humiliate another person rather than win his understanding - eh I fell sure we share that ethic so I'm only writing to suggest that your assumption about why people eat meet or fish or birds might need a bit of updting -- but i am open to listen to your opinion
thanks for all your reflective writing
