More than a decade ago, I saw that what we are doing to our planet and its biosphere is essentially suicide, because in killing off life at the rates we are doing that, we will eventually destroy our own options for survival.

This felt sense of reverence, this love, is the motivation that spontaneously arises with understanding of my own term, "Biovinity," meaning that every living being is as sacred, or divine, as any being we may ascribe this idea to and therefore love and cherish.
